Autofill not filling

I have a problem with Entourage 2004 and would like to ask your help
with:

The problem is that the addresses don't show up in the autofill
feature.

We are using Exchange 2000 server. It is connecting to the server to
get the mail and if the user types in the complete email address, it
works.

The problem is that it seems to not be accessing the list of staff
emails from the Exchange server. When you type a letter, such as "B,"
then Bill and Bob and Belinda should all show up in a list, the
"autofill."

Could someone explain what I could do to solve this?

Check your Preferences: Compose: ˆ Search Directory Services when
addressing messages

I don't use exchange so I might be missing something, but see if the
preference selection works.
