Automate powerpoint

Hello there,

I am trying to create a template powerpoint that would have the place
holder on the first page, where you should enter, say, a name of the
client. On the following pages, this same name should be repeated in
designated places.

Let's say I am creating a presentation for Microsoft. The name is
mentioned on the first page in the TO: box. On the following pages the
name is repeated in select places, whereever I chose to put it.

Later, when I want to give the same presentation to Google, all I have
to do is change the name on the first slide, and the rest will be self
corrected.

How do I do this???

Thanks!
Anton

If it is in the same place on every slide, then you could just put it on
the master slide. Other alternatives is to have a bogus (and unusual
name) where you want it and use a global search and replace. The final
option is to use some sort of macro to do this. The tricky parts of this
are knowing when to trigger the macro and accessing all the correct
shapes.

You cant do exactly what you want but you could use edit > replace to quickly
change the name (or ctrl H)
