Automated Out of Office Email Replies

I've looked all over but can't find any reference to setting up an
automated email reply in Entourage for messages arriving to my
computer. I'll be out of my office for the rest of this week and want
to let customers and colleagues know that I'm out of pocket for
awhile.....that I'm not ignoring them.

I'm thinking of something equivalent to Outlook's Out of Office
Assistant, which I previously used and liked.

Anyone know how to accomplish this, or if it's even possible?

If you have an Exchange account, you can set that on the server using
the OWA web page (it's in the options).
For all other types of accounts, you need to have Entourage running and
setup rules to send auto-replies (and I would exclude mailing lists from
these rules).

PLEASE make sure your reply does not get sent to any mailing lists as a mail
loop can result and make you very unpopular!

See Rule 3 for more info.
