Automatic Deletion of Email Messages

I have set up Entourage to send/receive messages for my AOL account.
This worked pretty well for months until recently. Most incoming
messages are deleted as soon as they are received. At first, only bulk
(non-junk) messages were the only messages not deleted. I cannot
figure out the rhyme or reason of what's deleted at this point. All
messages that I send are deleted once the AOL account is updated.

You are viewing your messages on the IMAP server?

This could be caused by a Rule or the Mailing List Manager. Do you have any
Rules or MLM Rules in place that would affect your account?

Yes, I am viewing the messages on the IMAP server. They also go to the
Folders on my Computer/Inbox.

I do not have any rules. As far as Mailing List Manager is concerned:
1) I have checked move messages to Inbox, and 2) for Actions on List
Messages on the Advanced screen "do not apply rules to list messages"
is checked.

They only go to your local inbox if you are doing so manually, or if you
have a rule in place.

Moving a messasge to your Inbox via a rule or the MLM will delete it from
the IMAP server. Your alternate choice is to "Copy" instead of "Move."
