Automatic font change

I'm using the Times new roman font in a presentation.

When typing accents, the font of the letter with accent automatically
changes to Arial.

Fon instance, when typing "C'est l'été à Bruxelles", the 2 "é" and the "à"
are in Arial, the rest being in Times. I manage to, afterwards, select the
whole sentence and change it in Times, but that's not really efficient.

How can I avoid this? Any idea?

Deselect all text boxes and choose Times New Roman in the font drop-down
list. This will make Times New Roman the default font for that presentation,
although it will not overrule any font choices in the Slide Master.

Also, how are you inserting the accented letters - are you using a program
that has them stored in the clipboard - maybe, it's stored on the clipboard
with font info?
