Automatic Numbered List

Hi!

I am using Word 95. I am having trouble with
the Autocorrect feature. In order to turn off
the Automatic Numbered List, I open Tools, Auto
Correct, Autoformat as You Type and DESELECT
Automatic Numbered List - press okay. The Auto-
matic Numbered List remains!

Is there anyway to permanently DESELECT this
feature??

Define the default bullet and number styles and it certainly helps.
Replacing the user access points in the GUI helps even more.

Usurp and use I say.
