automatically copy image from excel and paste in powerpoint in VB

Hi!

I am currently working on an application where the client would click a
button (export) and the given image (chart/graph) will automatically
copy (from Excel) and save itself in powerpoint. Is there a way to do
this in VB?

Also, is there a way to copy this image and paste it on the desktop
without having the focus altered (in VB)? Essentially it'll be doing
the same as above, except, rather than saving itself in powerpoint,
it'll save itself on the desktop (file/folder).

Thanks in advance. At this point I can use all the help I can get.

Hi,
I am trying to post a new question to the PowerPoint community. How do I
post my question? This is my first time. When I click 'New' and then
'Question' I get the recent questions other members have posted. I do not see
any window or space or link to post my own question.

Thanks for helping.

yes this can be done in VBA. Google on these three words Controlling
PowerPoint Excel or do the same thing in the MSKB

Guinn: Check out www.xpport.com for a great way to transfer Excel data
to PowerPoint. It is an add-in tool that reads the sheet's page breaks
and copies each printed page to a new slide in PowerPoint. It copies
both chart sheets and spreadsheets. It has an option to port just the
active sheet or all the sheets in the xls. And it has an option to
export to a new ppt presentation or append the new slides to an open
ppt file. Porting Excel data to PowerPoint is such a common task. Why
limit it to one xls file when you can load it as a tool and use it on
all xls files?
