Automatically delete junk email ?

Hi, I am running Outlook 2002 under WinXP Home SP1. My junk rule is
set to delete junk email. When I mark an item in my inbox as junk, it
does not get deleted but has to be deleted manually. Is there a way
to correct this problem?
