Automatically save contents of URL/hyperlink in email message.

I receive email notifications, from another application, that my daily
reports are finished. The email contains a URL, which, when clicked opens a
html document with the report data (in IE). I want to write a macro that will
automatically save that file as text when the email notification arrives.

Does this sound possible?
I'll need a few pointers to get started (I do know how to use the OL rules
to start the code).
