Somebody else told me how to do this just today in the
tabletpc general group. You access the commandbar "ink
annotations". Then find the button in the commandbar's
controls corresponding to "ink on/off" (sorry I don't know
the name, and I don't have access to my tablet to find
out). Once you have that button, use the execute method
to push it virtually.

vba. How do I do that? The only related function I can
find is the DeleteAllInkAnnotations function of the
Document object.
