I have a web service which updates the project database to extend a
task, and then I need to run the project scheduling engine in order to
update the schedules accordingly.
I have all this code written, and it works just fine as long as I run
it from the computer I'm sitting at. However, as soon as I call the
same code from a web service, it doesn't work anymore. It appears
that I cannot automate project professional from a web service.
Does anyone have some resources that will explain to me how I can get
around this. I know that when automating excel from the server side,
there are ways to get around it, but I haven't been able to find
anything for doing likewise with Project Pro.
