Automating Time Scale X-axis

I would appreciate some suggestions on how to automate a
chart's x-axis values. For instance, I would like to be
able to have my chart update to the last 30 days of data
so that each time the file is opened, the data is updated
in the chart to show the last 30 days from the current
date. Can this be done?
