AutoRecover form fields

The online help says that AutoRecover doesn't retrieve text placed in form
fields. Can this be coded to behave differently, like the spell check fix
I've seen in this forum?

No, AutoRecover isn't programmable with VBA the way spell check is.

Besides that, I wouldn't count on AutoRecover as any sort of fail-safe. See
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/general/AutomaticSave.htm for a discussion of what
AutoRecover does and doesn't do.
