Please direct me to the proper newsgroup if this one is inappropriate
for my problem...
Our transcriptionists use Word for transcribing reports. They use
AutoText when possible for canned text.
We have a transcriptionist who is triggering what appears to be AutoText
whenever she types "x" or "ii". When she types either of these, they
are immediately converted to a medical phrase.
However, when looking through all of the AutoText entries, there are NO
ENTRIES for "x" or "ii". Nothing even close.
I've also looked through all of the AutoCorrect entries and confirmed
that there is nothing there either.
Deleting the normal.dot isn't really an option as it would remove all of
her correctly-functioning AutoText entries.
Am I missing another avenue to research here? Any ideas?
She is on a Win2K workstation using Word2000.
Thank you for any assistance or direction to a more appropriate newsgroup.
