Average Range

Does Excel (2003)have a way to calculate Average Range?
My problem is:
B2:M2 is avg. low price for the year in months
D2:M2 is avg. high price
in C2 to M2 I'd like a formula to calculate Avg. range to
construct a Float Chart of Avr. Range?

Stndt,

Your ranges overlap, so your problem as stated is impossible to solve.

The range is simply the high - the low: in formulas, it would be somthing
like

=A1-A2

You can copy the formulas to other cells to match your data range, then use
the AVERAGE function to get the average. But the average range would be a
single number, not an array of numbers.
