Well, it's not this, because you don't want to save your AVI in a
QuickTime format if you want it to play within PPT on a PC. Now, if
you're talking a Mac, that may be a different story.

This is more likely. Or it could be an issue with the MCI settings on a
particular machine.

You've not given us much to go on here, just a broad question with only
two options. What's going on that you need help with? Details, details,
my crystal ball's broken, you know.

2002 class and this is a question that I cannot answer.
This is the question with possible answers:

(c) You need to right-click some movies for them to play
(d) You didn't save it in the My Movies folder
So, from the choices above I think it is a or b but I'm

Well, as I said about answer A before,

Well, it's not this, because you don't want to save your AVI in a
QuickTime format if you want it to play within PPT on a PC. Now, if
you're talking a Mac, that may be a different story.

Since your class seems to be for a version of PPT for the PC, that would
help rule out A. You're correct that C and D are not the answer, so
that leaves B as the most likely culprit.

I'm glad to hear that your teacher is covering multimedia. The more you
know about what PPT is doing and how it handles multimedia, the better
your chances for troubleshooting issues when they crop up.
