back up attachments

Hi

I need to reformat the hard drive to deal with a glitch.

I have forwarded essential e-mails on to a webmail
address and saved the Outlook messages to a readily
accessible PST file to burn to CD.

The last time I did this (using OE)I got the messages but
not the attachments which are the very bits I need. Is
there a way to save back attachments up in such a way
that I can burn them to CD. (I know this shouldn't be
necessary given the webmail option - but I edit a
newspaper and the attachments are the articles I need so
a local copy would be reasssuring)

Many thanks in anticipation

Kathryn

Messages (including there attachments), contacts, calendar, tasks, .etc are
all stored in the PST file. When you go to burn that PST file to CD, make
sure that you burn it at 4X or less. PST files tend to corrupt at faster
burns speeds.

Many thanks - the CD burn speed may have been the
problem - we used 8x ... will adjust accordingly this
time.

Since you mention "last time....OE" I sincerely hope this time you are using
OL and not OE
