Backed up entire Entourage X folder while my iBook's hard drive was being replaced...

Now I can't import the file to the hard drive.

Naturally, I am using the same system and same version of Entourage.
(Which I understand makes easy transfer difficult.)

The file is simply called "Database" and it's a 1.1 gigs.

When I try to import it - either via my external drive or via my
desktop - it doesn't recognize. The file is greyed out.

When I attempt to either simply click on the file, nothing comes of it.
Attempting to drag and drop also comes to no avail.

When I try to add the suffix <.mbox> it doesn't make any difference.

How shall I unlock/access/import this crucial file?

Thanks in advance.

By default, Entourage uses the Microsoft User Data (MUD) folder located in
your Documents. If the Entourage X folder you saved is the one located in
there, then you are on the right track. You shouldn't have to do anything
like import. just copy your Entourage X folder that includes all the
databases (it's not just database) to the new location, deleting the new one
or moving it out of the way, or replacing it.

Start Entourage and everything should work. If not, then your files became
corrupted or something. Then you should ask for help on how to rebuild, etc.
