Background

Hi Group,
Frontpage 2002 SP3. Windows XPpro
I've had this office xp developer for some time now but have never really
gotten into Frontpage.
I have looked at some of the other posts about backgrounds but none seem to
address my particular question.

Which is?

When I use different .jpg pictures as a background some will be full screen
and some will be tiled.

Is this caused by the picture properties or is there some way to control
whether a picture (background) is tiled or full screen?

As always any guidance, advice or suggestion is welcome.

The browser always tiles all bk images (depends on the browser/image size when you see it tiled)

You can use CSS to prevent it from tiling in some browsers

A background image will always be shown full size. If it is larger
than the browser the image will be cropped to fit, if it is smaller
the image will tile to fill the browser viewport.
You can use CSS to prevent an image from tiling, but you cannot
stretch it to fill the browser.

<style type="text/css">
body{
background-image: url(images/Winter.jpg);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
}
</style>

Thanks for your responses.
I think that tells me what I wanted to know.
