backgroundcolour of stencil in drawing control

Hello everybody

How can I set the background color with VBA for the loaded stencil in the
drawing control?
I tried setting it thru
"mydrawingControl.ApplicationSettings.StencilBackgroundColor = 16764057"

but didn't work :-(

Any ideas?
