Backing Up Entourage for Mac - Entourage Data/settings from old mac to new mac

mpmail

On my PC I backup my Outlook Data files which consist of (Emails,
Notes, Calendars etc) on a *.pst file. I would like to find out how to
do this for my MAC Entourage V10.1.4 and not able to figure out where
the specific files are located on the MAC. In Microsoft Outlook you can
click through menus, save everything or only specific items to a *.pst
file. I cannot find anything in Entourage that is menu driven like
this. Is there a menu driven process or can someone point me to where
the files are located.

I will be switching MAC's and need to bring over all my data, email
account settings etc so I can either restore or copy the files from the
old Mac to the new Mac.

Thank you.

Your help is appreciated.

Welcome to the Mac!!

Basics everyone should know

If you move the Microsoft User Data folder (also known as the MUD folder) in
your Documents folder, Entourage will create a new blank Identity. Inside
this folder is your Identity (named Main by default). All of your mail,
contacts, etc are stored here.

Location of Entourage Mail/Data... How can you backup, if you don't know
where it is?

You should have only one Microsoft Database daemon in your "Startup items".
If you have more than one, delete all and let Entourage create a new one
when it launches.

When installing Office updates, quit all applications that are running,
including virus-protection applications, all Office applications, Microsoft
Messenger for Mac, and Office Notifications, because they might interfere
with installation. It's good practice to restart and Repair Permissions
after updating. How to quit Notifications.
