I create a presentation in power point 2003 and then someone reads it in PPT
2000 and makes some modifications. I found that some of the graphics is lost
when I open the changed presentation in PPT 2003 but it still exist in 2000.

any clues?

Open PPT 2003 and go to Help/Check for Updates. Install SP-1 for Office
2003.

This is a critical update for PPT 2003 as it fixes most of these odd
"missing graphics" issues.

I have a question and don't know how to get it on the board, so here it is.
I created a PowerPoint presentation at my school. Then, I brought it home to
work on our 2002 version. There were a lot more animation effects and slide
transitions that were not on the school version. What will happen when I go
to present my project at my school? Will it use the new effect or will there
be an error and nothing will happen? Please help. Thanks

You probably have PowerPoint 97 or 2000 at school, which are older versions that
do not recognize the features that were added to PowerPoint 2002, such as new
animations and transitions. If you must play your presentation in PowerPoint at
school, go to Tools > Options > Edit and disable the three items that appear at
the bottom of the window that pops up.

If you can use the PowerPoint 2003 Viewer at school, then you can show off by
using the new features available to you at home and when you get to school, use
the Viewer to play the presentation instead of the full-blown PowerPoint
application. The Viewer is available for free from
