Strange Entourage 2004 problem here.
I've been using Entourage on my iBook and iMac for many, many months
now. Today, I opened up my iBook, clicked Send & Receive, and got:
Mail could not be received at this time.
The server for account "Earthlink" returned the error "bad password or
unknown username." Your username/password or security settings may be
incorrect. Would you like to try re-entering your passoword?
I tried to re-enter, got the same message. I logged onto Earthlink's
webmail, it worked fine. I tried to rebuild the account but it
wouldn't verify (same error). I went over to my iMac (connected to the
same wireless network as the iBook) and it worked fine. Why would my
iBook Entourage suddenly start giving me this message? Thoughts???
