balance sheet template in excel adding lines

I am using the balance sheet template in excel to handle my finances.
However, I cannot add extra lines to add additional deposits and withdrawals
in my bank accout. those options in the menus are grayed out. what can I do?

Tools | Protection | Unprotect Sheet.
You should be able to do with it as you will after removing the sheet
protection.
