Banner's background appear tiled in the message

I've been looking all over and so far I couldn't get any support: if I
receive a message that was created in Outlook Express with a banner in
the background, using Entourage, the banner repeats itself several
times. It doesn't happen with Thunderbird or Outlook. Is this a bug?
