We have the inbox working. Bout lack of access to the Global Address
list is a real show stopper. I am pointing the Director tab to the
exchange server address. Is this correct? I get an error 3260 ,
connection error. Does GAL even use LDAP?

If I point the directory tab to the Active directory server (they do sit in a
different domain as does the exchange server) I then get a error - 3170
the specified server could not be found

Just a followup. When I disabled the advanced setting of "This LDAP
server requires a secure connection" I get a new error when connecting
to the Active directory server (NOT the exchange server)

"The directory service denied access. Verify the authentication settings
for this directory service."

Yes,
this is the real issue!
if someone can just tell us exactly the steps that need to happen to
connect to the GAL I would reallly appreciate it! i'm the only mac
user in a windows shop and it would be great to not have to switch to
virtual pc all the time to check the calenders of people!
