BCC Automatically

Charles Leung

I have a few accounts, including POP and IMAP, in my Entourage 2004. Now I
want BCC to a specified email every time when sending out message with a
particular POP account. It seems there is no BCC in Rule. Is there any way
to do? Thanks.

I'm running Entourage 11.2.0 on Tiger 10.4.2.

Thanks,

Charles

I think your answer is, in fact, in the Rules.

If you create a rule that applies to mail sent to that particular POP
account, and has as its action to "redirect" your message to the specified
email, it should accomplish what you want to accomplish (which, I presume,
is to have a copy of the email sent to the specified email account without
letting the recipient of the original email know that you are copying it to
the other account, right?).

It does not actually BCC the message, but creates an additional message that
will be placed in your outbox to be sent with the next batch to your
specified email account.

Does that work for you?

Get my free "Add BCC or CC E" script from

MacScripter.net <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/>

It was written for Entourage 2001 but will work also in Entourage 2004 and
X.
