Bcc myself automatically?

In Entourage 2004, is there a way to BCC myself automatically each time I
create a new message? I know, of course, that I can do it manually each time
but it would be nice to have it done for me each time as it was in Apple's
Mail. (I BCC myself on each piece of sent mail so that I don't have to worry
about syncing my laptop and desktop computer's email. I have a Rule set up
to save these messages in a separate folder.)

Thanks!

First, install the Jon's Command's scripting addition (version 3 for OS X,
version 2 for OS 9) if you haven't already. It is freely available at the
author's website.

Then, get the "Add BCC or CC" script by Paul Berkowitz. It includes setup
and usage instructions. All you have to do is run the script whenever you
open a new message to have yourself added as a BCC recipient.

Here is what I do. There may be a more elegant solution, which I would be
happy to hear.

I have set up a mailbox on my provider server called "[email protected]".
A rule (under Outgoing tab) called "Outcopy" is set to forward each outgoing
message to that account.

Then I have set up a rule to put all mail addressed to [email protected]
into a folder called Outcopy. I keep mail in that server account for at
least 30 days and always check mail on my notebook at least every two weeks
even when I am not traveling.

Hope this helps.

Of course I have the same rules on the laptop, using Eudora over there
because it's a PC.

Best,

- Bill
