Hi there

When sending eMails with bcc: recipients, these recipientes are not shown in
the sent messages or any other folder. That's complete crap! Anyone knows
whether that's my mistake and if not whether there's a workaround?

Thanks and cheers,
e.

Open the message into its own window rather than viewing it in the Preview
Pane.

A colleague has this very problem (no bcc shown on sent messages that were
sent successfully including bcc's) -- and she IS opening the message in its
own window (not preview pane) -- yet on my computer the bcc is shown. VERY
MYSTERIOUS. Any other ideas?

Was the message in question send from the same copy of Entourage your
colleague is using? Is the message in the Entourage Sent Mail folder or an
IMAP folder?

I'm just throwing out ideas here.

Sent from a different computer, but same version of Entourage (11.0.1)
that was installed from same Microsoft Office 2004 CD. Both using OS
10.3.7 -- hers is on an iMac (v. 2.1) and mine is a Dual PowerPC G5.
Looking at messagees in the Entourage Sent Mail folder (not IMAP).

My BCC: field also does not show up among the headers, even when I ope
the message. However, if I click on "resend" they do appear correctl
among the recipients in the bcc: field, so the information is hidin
somewhere.

I gather it depends on the computer. In my case, my mail file
actually reside on a server, not the IMAP server, but also not my loca
disk. Does that matter?

I have been unable to find any preference selection to change thi
behavior. Is there a way to edit the preference file directly t
correct this

the message.
That's the whole point of BCC: the "B" stands for "Blind". If it were in the
headers it would transmit with the message and everyone could read it.
However, if I click on "resend" they do appear correctly
among the recipients in the bcc: field, so the information is hiding
somewhere.

That's correct. The information is in the message itself, residing on _your_
identity in _your- copy of Entourage. It's there for Entourage to know, but
you can't send it with the message.

No.

No.

I think that the BCC recipients will appear in the headers of the saved copy
of the sent message if you open it with Internet Headers turned off (View >
Internet Headers) in its own window.
