Is there any easy way to BCC all outgoing correspondence from Entourage?

I would like to use my laptop in business all the time, but there are still
some things that I can only get via PC, so unless I copy another server,
sometimes correspondence doesn¹t end up on both.

Thanks for suggestions!

I have seen no way to set up a rule to Bcc correspondence.

My approach to this same issue is to set up a rule (Tools/Rules) under the
Outbound tab (far right).

It¹s very basic...

Since I have a few domains I use, I have it set up so that IF From Contains
..com, Forward To [email protected]. Of course I use an actual real
domain name. I have a pop account set up for a user called outbound.

Then I have Entourage and my PC (Eudora) emailer check for outbound email
every day or so.

I always have a copy of everything I send out.

Hope this helps.

Best,

- Bill

First, install the Jon's Command's scripting addition (version 3 for OS X,
version 2 for OS 9) if you haven't already. It is freely available at the
author's website.

Then, get the "Add BCC or CC" script by Paul Berkowitz. It includes setup
and usage instructions. All you have to do is run the script whenever you
open a new message add BCC recipients automatically.

Thanks for the response, Mickey.

What you describe sounds almost the same level of attention as just typing
in a regular BCC addressed to my other server. I was thinking more along the
lines of anything sent out from this computer would be automatically copied
to the BCC (as in a ³rule²).

Am I reading your suggestion correctly?

THANKS Bill! This was what I was looking for. I had set it up once before on
an earlier machine, but forgot about the ³outgoing² tab duh. Great! Should
be a workable solution. Gives me a consistent thread on both machines.

Great! :)

Might make you feel even better to know that I had to do some mousing around
to remember what I¹d done. I had forgotten about the Outbound tab too until
I couldn¹t find the script anywhere and checked every heading.

Best,

- Bill
