If a BCM (Business Contact Manager) encounters a problem you can select to
disable it. The disabled component appears in Help->About->Disabled Items.
I did this, forgot about it and later reinstalled Outlook and BCM. After
this I could not get BCM to work properly. After a whole days struggle I
found that the "disabling" was still in effect! It survived uninstall and
reinstall of Outlook. The errors were very uninformative, such as "the record
you are updating has been deleted by another user" and so on (even though I
am the only user on my computer).
So: If you have some troubles with Outlook and/or BCM, examine the "Disabled
Items" dialog and see if there is stuff there.
