BCM/Follow Up Flag Issue

I seem to have uncovered what may be a possible glitch in programming within the BCM side of Outlook 2003. If I set up a follow up flag in the "Contacts" side of Outlook, when the time comes for the "follow up" it pops up under the "reminders" window. However when I set up a follow up flag for a contact in the Business Contact Manager folder, the reminder does NOT pop up when it's supposed to. I've set up a number of them & NONE of them work. Is there a way to turn this "on" or is there a problem in the software?

The BCM contacts do not support follow up flags.

Sue,

Is that by design? If not will it be corrected with SR-1 or will it be in a
future release? Thanks.
The BCM contacts do not support follow up flags.

Surely this has to be a simple oversight on someone's part! The BCM contact window allows you to go in & set the flag. It just doesn't work! If it's that way intentionally...why? Please check & see if this is going to be addressed in future updates

Thank you for your help in this matter!

It's apparently by design. We have no information on what features might appear in a future version of BCM. You might want to send your suggestions to [email protected]

BCM makes a lot of compromises in the course of displaying information in familiar Outlook contacts and actually storing that information in an MSDE database. You might want to send your suggestions to [email protected]

Sue, can you tell me exactly where to find the BCM database in MS Explorer? The only way I can see to backup this database is within the BCM program under Business Database/Backup. Is that the ONLY avenue to make a backup of the BCM database

Thanks again for your assistance in this matter!
