Beating a Dead Horse: Entourage importing Distribution Lists

I've come to accept the fact that Entourage never had or ever will have
support for distribution lists. My head is bowed to Microsoft in
submission on this topic. However, it does not dispute the fact that I
need to get these Mac user's Outlook dis lists into Entourage groups
somehow. I've seen other suggestions in these groups over-simplifying
the solution by saying, "re-select the users and hit add to group."
However, the main reason that these people made the distribution lists
was so that they did not have to clutter up their Contacts folder with
individual users. Also, they did this to keep people who are not in
our GAL in a combined location.

In short, fixing it the "easy way" by selecting users and hitting add
to group is not a solution.

Right now I go into Outlook on a Terminal Server and save the Dis Lists
as a comma-delimited text file. I then open that in Excel and clean
the forms up by hand before importing the old distribution list back in
as individual users. I can then mark those people as a specific group
and easily turn them into a group.

It isn't hard, but it is time consuming and I would rather not do this
by hand to 300 users. Has anyone come up with an easier way to do
this?

Thanks.
