Beginner: Newsletter - The web preview is chaos!

Hi there all,

This is my first day using Mic Publisher 2003 - I used one of the
newsletter templates to insert text and pictures, and even though it
looks fine in the inital window I am creating it in, when I create a web
preview it looks terrible - the pictures are sometimes blocking the text
(I chose to tightly wrap text around pictues) or sometimes it's vice
versa, with the text appearing on top of the picture.
I've tried messing around with the order (bring to front) function, but
it's not making any difference.
I'm a total newbie - so i'm pretty sure i'm doing something wrong.
Also - when i preview it in the browser, it appears to mainly fill the
left hand of the screen, not the full normal screen you usually see with
a web page.

Hope someone can shed some light!

Thanks,

Claudia

As JoAnn stated you'll want to post web topics in the web forum and use the
web FAQ as well - http://www.publishermvps.com/Default.aspx?tabid=30
Some very significant things you need to know:
- Pub 2003 has 2 types of a publication- print and web.
- if you create a print publication and want to make it a website you first
have to convert it to a web publication.
- not everything converts well. making adjustments in a web version is
typical.
- for best results for a web page begin with a web publication.
- web publications do not support text wrapping images. period.
- web publications are flush left. by design.
