I use a Palm Zire 21 and synchronize it with Entourage. It's not perfect,
but that's mainly because the Palm doesn't support as many fields as
Entourage does (along with the lack of multiple address per contact support
on the Palm). Generally, it does a good job. I use the built in Date Book
and Address Book programs; the new versions shipping with the Tungsten T3
and E models are superior, but there is a risk of data loss if one
synchronizes them with Entourage.
Considering that Palm devices are the only ones for which synchronization is
supported in Entourage, it might be best to go with them. However, the
recent announcement that Palm OS 6 will not come with a Mac synchronization
conduit is somewhat worrisome. It might be best to wait and ensure that
Mark/Space <
http://www.markspace.com/> will come out with a conduit that
will support Entourage.
There are other options, like Pocket PC, available with and without built-in
mobile phone. However, the third-party conduit for that
<

<

Jonas Salling for synchronizing with Sony Ericsson mobile phones has gotten
nice reviews, but it is compatible with a limited range of models.
