Best way to view all emails from someone

Every now and again, I get an email from a customer who's in my Address
book, but it's been so long since the last time they wrote, that I
don't remember who they are, and what the context was.

What is the easiest method for viewing all the emails from that person?


There are variety of ways to do this, but I don't think I'm doing the
simple ones :) Curious what the fastest, most handy way is. I'm using
Entourage 2004 11.2.3.

Probably the fastest would be to search using "from contains" and enter
the email address of the person. Althernatively, you could click on the
"from" column, which will sort your inbox by email addresses.

If they aren't all located in the same folder, you can go to Edit > Advanced
Find, select to search messages in all folders with the single criterion
"From contains <the e-mail address>".

Another option that work well (particularly if this is an ongoing query you
want to use) is to take advantage of Entourage's MAIL VIEWS option. I have
several mail views set for key contacts of mine. This allows me to simply
select that view and immediately see all messages from that person across
all mail folders.

Essentially custom mail views = saved search query.
