I just receved the office 2003 Beta. Whemn I loaded front
page onto by new Tablet PC it caused the worst problem I
have had in 15 year of personal computing. The computer
would not power on! no internet conncection-no virus. The
tablet would power on about 1 out of every 200 to 300
times I pushed the power button, then crash during the
splash screen. Finally got the splash screen to stay up
long enought to boot to CD-Rom and did recovery, lost hard
disc data but luckily backed it up because I almost
expected this to happen. Nevertheless hope springs eternal-
I'm still out of 4 hours time and the 15 dollar shipping
charge for little frisbees for my kids!

consider yourself lucky. I sometimes work on webs from my laptop (vaio with
a 12" screen), usually by "remote desktop" to my "main computer". It kills
my eyes and cramps my hands. ;-), plus it's really not so great for design
because the color rendition isn't what you'd expect.
