Big file sent many times

Have a problem sending large files. Receipents get many copies. First time
I thought it was a fluke. Today it happened again.

I got feed back to turn off the antivirus scan on outgoing mail, which I've
done, and to increase the the server timeout value on the Advanced tab of
account properties.

I went to tools, email accounts, view or change an existing e-mail account,
change the selected account, I'm asked to sign in by the MS Office Outlook
Connector, I enter the e-mail address and password, and I go no where.

Is this the correct place for the advanced tab? If not, how does one get to
it?

Is the is Outlook Online (MSN) connector? If so, you can't control the time
out. Turning off the AV scan should be enough.
