Hello

I am using MOSS 2007. In a project I have billable and non billable tasks.
How do I display billable and non-billable in Resource Assignmetn.. One
thing I tried I have create a custom field on task level it is working fine.
I believer this feature is available in Project Server 2007 by default, I
try to search, but dont find any thing on this.

Can any one suggeest what shoud be best way to handle this situation?

Hi Ashish,

The billable fields are available in the timesheet views, but are at the
discretion of the resource rather than the PM. If you need the PM to decide
whether a task is billable, you can create an enterprise field for this, but
it won't show on the task sheet as the task sheet shows assignments. So, a
user would have to check via a project view to see if a task is chargeable.
Another way may be to have some convention in the task name to denote
billable work.
