Birthday dates for Children

I'd like to be able to add the birthdays for children associated with a
contact.

Is there any way of 'extending' the data held about a contact?

You can just add the dates, or anything else, to the children's names in the
contact. You can't enter them in the Calendar (although you _could_ if you
also entered just the date as a Custom date, and perhaps would want to
change the labels of the two Custom date fields to "Child 1 Birthday",
"Child 2 Birthday" : in Entourage these labels will apply to all contacts
not just the one where you make the change). But as far as the "Children"
fields go, they're just text. you can put anything you want in there:

Harry (10/12/1996)

for example.
