Birthday display

How do I enter a birthday for a contact when I only have the month and day?
I am using Outlook 2003. When I enter the month and day it automatically
enters a day of the week and a year. I would like to display only the month
and day.

you need a year in the b-day field. to use just a month and day, enter it in
notes or create a custom field for it.

Entering the birthday in notes does not put it in the calendar. Can the
birthday field display be modified to exclude the day of the week?

Try changing the long date format in windows to not use a day of the week...
if it works, that will also remove the year from the view, along with the
year from every other view within windows.
