I'm running OS X, Entourage X, and Internet Explorer 5.2 for OS X. I have
the most bizarre problem: I can browse any site in IE, but pinging the site
fails; a DNS lookup on the site works, but traceroute fails, and I get
a -23016 or -23012 error when I try to send/receive mail in Entourage. Can't
retrieve mail in the Apple Mail application either. I tried deleting the
mail account in Entourage and recreating it, and deleting the keychain, but
no luck. This machine was upgraded from OS 9.2.1 to OS X, and I know the
mail account settings are correct because I used them to create an working
account on a PC running Outlook Express.
Any ideas would be most appreciated.
