Blank distribution lists at beginning of contacts

After migration from Lotus Notes to Outlook, I have over 300 blank
distribution lists at the beginning of my contact list. I did not have
distribution lists in Notes. I've tried to delete them without success. Any
ideas?
Windows XP and Outlook 2003, Exchange 2003
