Blank messages received

Hi,

Over the last two weeks I have received two emails from different people
which have been blank.

All other emails from them have been fine and they assure me that the email
had something in it.

I also have sent at least one email that has been blank when it arrived at
the other end.

We are all on entourage 2004.

When I do a veiw > source this confirms that the email arrives completely
empty except for the normal headers.

None of us are using exchange. I did a fair bit of searching on the web and
didn't come across any info except for an exchange hotfix.

Any ideas please?

I would suggest you start with a database rebuild - it is possible that you
are seeing the first signs of some database corruption.

Start Entourage while holding down the Option key - keep the key hed down
until entourage is fully started up and displays the rebuild screen (you
should start by double-clicking the Entourage icon in the Finder - some
start-up utilities can get in the way of passing on the option key).

Then, select the option to rebuild the database - it my take some time, if
you have a large database!
