I just hooked up Entourage and have been using it to get mail from my
various officelive accounts. Everything seemed really chipper until I
noticed that a message I had sent to a colleague-which he had already
replied to-was reported as 'bounced'-message sending failed. I thought
this was a little wierd, but knowing he had seen the message, I assumed
it was no big deal.
THEN, I noticed that some of my messages created in Entourage were
being saved in my sent folders with blank to,subject, and message
fields. Yikes! So I sent a couple messages to myself, and low and
behold, they were showing up on the other end the same way.
Well, I went online and ran the same test (sent the messages directly
from the officelive mail accounts rather than through Entourage) and
everything worked fine.
Entourage seems to receive mail just fine, and it looks like replies to
messages sent from somewhere else are getting though. But messages
originating from Entourage don't seem to make it...
SO, I think I've established that this is an Entourage problem, rather
than an officelive problem (of which there are MANY). Any ideas? I'd
love to keep using this program, as I now have many, many email
addresses and really prefer to avoid checking them individually...
