Blocked attachmnent: Will the forwarding trick work?

I've noticed there are utilities available to tweak the registry and thus
correct the Outlook 2002 design goof that blocks pdf attachments.

I don't want to beg my colleagues to make registry changes.

Does the "forward message" trick work in Outlook 2002 as it does in Outlook
Express 6?
