bluetooth headset as input to powerpoint

using a Logitech HS02-V04 bluetooth headset powerpoint's record slide
narration tool will not work (have selected it as the input device on both
the computer and in the powerpoint preferences). The headset works for other
programs and powerpoint will record through the inbuilt mic on my ibook G4.
Can anyone solve this?

I would imagine you'll get better response if you post to the Mac PPT
