body text always in bold

hi
whenever I compose new mail (Outlook 2003) the body text is always in bold,
how do I permanently turn this off, it isn't in the word template .dot, or
in signatures - where else might this setting be ?

Are you using Outlook to compose your mail or Word?

I use word, but it isnt the normal.dot template either !!
