Book/Duplex Printing Question

Suzanne

I need to print a book. The first few pages - the title page, forward, and
index - I do NOT want to print duplex, or two-sided. However, I do want the
remainder of the document, the chapters, to print duplex, or two-sided. I
have set up my margins appropriately, so that is not the issue.

I want to know how to print the first few pages, designated above, as single
sided without inserting a blank page between them. Is there a way to do
this? Thank you for your answer.

IMO, the easy way is to insert blank pages in the document. You can always
delete them later if you want.

Or, you can change your printer options to print one side only. Then select
the first few pages in the print dialog and print. Then reconfigure your
printer for two sided printing and select in the print dialog the remaining
pages and print.

Neither of those options are really what I was searching for. Thanks for
your answer though.

If you are looking for a solution that *only* involves the printer, you need
to read the printer manual. I doubt if you'll be able to do that tho.

The correct was is to set up your document as a book and then it will flow
correctly.
