book mark cross references

B

Bob

I have made a standard contract with a cover page that has all of names and
addresses that change from contract to contract.

I have referenced them by using book marks and cross references.

It appears to work well except that some words are in bold after being cross
referenced from the first page to the contract. How can I get that to stop
happening?

Thanks in advance.

Add a \* Charformat switch inside the closing } of the cross reference field
(Use Alt+F9 to toggle on the fields codes if necessary) and apply the
desired formatting to the R of REF.

here is a sample....it still seems to make some works capitalized.

This Agreement is made by and entered into between { REF contractorcounty
\h \* MERGEFORMAT } , .......

this still makes one of the words in the referenced county in bold type.

what am i doing wrong?

thanks.

Hi Bob,

As Doug indicated, change your field to:
{ REF contractorcounty \h \* CHARFORMAT }
and format the 'R' in 'REF' to the font that you want the output in.

Cheers
